Date-nut fudge

Ingredients

1cupDates (chopped)
1cupMilk
2tablespoonsButter
1teaspoonVanilla
½cupNuts (chopped)

Directions

Mix sugar, dates, milk and butter; boil until a soft ball is formed when dropped into cold water. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until mixture begins to thicken; pour into greased pan. Yield: 2 pounds.
