¼cupCorn syrup
½teaspoonVanilla extract
3tablespoonsNonfat dry milk
¼teaspoonSalt
2cupsSifted confectioners' sugar
1cupFinely cut dates
1cupChopped nuts

Directions

Servings: 1¼ pounds

DIRECTIONS: Blend butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Add nonfat dry milk, salt, sugar and dates. Mix well, and shape in small rolls. Dip each roll in nuts. (If nuts don't stick, moisten rolls with corn syrup.) Source: Mom's old magazine clippings- 1940's to 1970's From: Sallie Austin
