Measure Ingredient
20 ounces Vodka; 80 or 90 proof
2 teaspoons Orange essence
1 teaspoon Orange vegetable coloring
1 cup Sugar; white, granulated
\N \N Water as needed
\N \N Water to make 1 quart

Note: Please use the best available grade of water. Dissolve the sugar in just enough good water or distilled water to dissolve it.

Boil to form a heavy syrup. Allow mixture to cool. Add the vodka slowly, stirring well to mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
