Ingredients

¼cupMillet, uncooked
¼cupBarley, uncooked
cupBrown rice, uncooked
1Onion, chopped
1cupGreen pepper, chopped
½cupCarrot, chopped
16ouncesKidney beans, cooked, drained
8ouncesTomato sauce
16ouncesTomatoes, canned (reserve liquid), drained and chopped
16ouncesCanned corn, drained
1teaspoonDried oregano
1teaspoonDried basil
½teaspoonGarlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot, putting grains in last. Add water to reserved tomato liquid to equal 2½ cups. Stir into crockpot.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

Stir well before serving.

NOTES : Add 4 ounce can of diced green chili to add more zip.
