Crockpot beef & beans

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Beans, pinto, dried
6 cups Water; cold
½ pounds Salt pork; cut up
1 pounds Beef, chuck steak; 1\" cubed
½ teaspoon Pepper, red; crushed
1 \N Onions; chopped
2 cloves Garlic cloves; minced
6 ounces Tomato paste
1½ tablespoon Chili powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cumin seed
½ teaspoon Marjoram leaves

Soak beans in water overnight. Brown salt pork in skillt or in the corckpot if you have that type. Combine the soaked beans with water into the crockpot along with the browed salt pork and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours.
