Country green beans (also cor ii)

Ingredients

1poundsFresh green beans, trimmed
¼cupChopped fully cooked ham
¼cupButter
¼cupWater
1Garlic clove, minced
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper

Directions

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until beans are tender.

YIELD: 4 servings

NOTES : You can also add ¼ cup chopped onion, but I think it tastes fine without it.
