Corn relish

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Choped cucumber
2 cups Vinegar
2 cups Chopped onion
1 teaspoon Celery seed
2 cups Chopped tomatoes
1½ teaspoon Salt
2 cups Chopped cabbage
½ teaspoon Turmeric
1 cup Chopped celery
2 cups Corn, cut from the cob

In a Dutch oven or heavy sauce pan, combine first five ingredients.

Heat to a boiling; add vegetables. Cook, uncovered, 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pack in hot scalded jars and seal. Makes 3 pints.
