Corn bread burger bake

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 Eggs; beaten
1 cup Corn meal
2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 can Cream style corn
1 cup Milk
3 tablespoons Oil
1 pounds Ground beef
½ cup Onion; chopped
1 teaspoon Chili powder
2 cups Grated cheese
¼ cup Green peppers

Combine first 6 ingredients. Set aside. Brown ground beef, drain off fat.

Add onions, green peppers and chili powder. Pour half the corn bread mixture in a greased 9-inch casserole dish. Cover with ground beef mixture and a layer of cheese. Pour the rest of the corn bread mixture over the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
