Claret punch^

Measure Ingredient
⅔ cup Water
1 pint Claret
2 \N Lemons, juice of
\N \N Cracked ice
1 quart Water
2 \N Sprigs mint
1 \N Orange, sliced
\N \N Few fresh strawberries

Dissolve the sugar in the water. Add claret, lemon juice, ice and mint. Crush the mint a little to release the fragrance. Slice the orange thin and add with the strawberries just before serving. Many of the recipes in this collection did not contain amounts or oven temperatures. I have typed them in as they appear in the book, typos and all.
