Cinnamon coffee cake

Yield: 9 servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Sugar
¼ cup Softened butter or margarine
1 \N Egg
½ cup Milk
½ cup Brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons Flour
1½ cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
1½ teaspoon Cinnamon

CAKE BATTER

FILLING

Preheat oven to 375degF. Grease on 8- or 9-inch square baking pan.

Beat sugar, butter, and egg until creamy. Stir in milk. Blend dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture until barely moistened.

Combine filling ingredients; mix well.

Spread half the batter in the pan and sprinkle with half the filling.

Add rest of batter, then remaining filling. Bake about 30min, until firm to the touch in center. Serve warm or cooked.
