Yield: 1 Servings
Measure | Ingredient |
---|---|
12 mediums | Apples, peeled and sliced |
½ cup | Water (up to 3/4) |
½ cup | Sugar (up to 3/4) |
½ cup | Red hots |
Place apples and water in a very large saucepan. Cook down over medium heat until apples are somewhat mushy, more applesauce like and most of the water has cooked off (about 20-30 minutes). Stir occasionally and break big chunks of apple up against side of pan. Add sugar and red hots; stir until red hots dissolve.
Makes about 10 cups
