Yield: 4 Servings
|1 pack||(10 oz.) thawed red raspberries|
|3 \N||Cinnamon sticks|
|4 pounds||Cooking apples; peeled/coarsely chop|
|\N \N||Sugar; (optional)|
Place raspberries, cinnamon and apples in heavy pan. Bring mixture to boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 15-20 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in sugar to taste, if desired. Remove cinnamon sticks.
Serve warm or refrigerate. Makes 6 cups. Great with pork and a great way to use all those Fall apples.
