Christmas delight candy

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
½poundsMarshmallows
1packFigs; small package
½poundsDates; stoned
½poundsAlmonds; blanched
½cupPecans; or walnuts
1cupCocoanut; shredded
1Maraschino cherries; small bottle

Directions

Melt marshmallows over hot water until very soft. Grind figs, dates, nuts and cocoanut. Chop and drain cherries. Mix and pat out to ½ inch thickness. Cut in squares, roll in granulated sugar.
