Chocolate dessert sauce (lite)

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Brown sugar, packed
⅓ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
¾ cup Water
1 tablespoon Margarine
1 teaspoon Vanilla

In a small saucepan combine brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cornstarch. Add water. Cook and stir over medium heat till sauce is thickened and bubbly.

Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla. Cover and chill thoroughly before serving. Makes about 1¼ cups.

Great with ice milk or slices of cake.
