Chocolate chip bread 2
1 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | Egg plus enough water to equal 3/4 cup plus 2 TBL (That's what the book says!!!) | |
2¼ | cup | Bread Flour |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
3 | tablespoons | Sugar |
1 | tablespoon | Dry milk (which I leave out to keep that machine pareve) |
1 | tablespoon | Butter (or pareve margarine) |
¾ | cup | Chocolate chips |
½ | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
1½ | teaspoon | Yeast |
Directions
(from the Sanyo Bread Factory Book) I use the 'raisin bread' setting, and add the chips at the beep. If your machine mixes well, you may have chocolate bread instead of chocolate chip.
I had a problem that my bread didn't rise when I switched brands of chocolate chips. I don't know why, but the paskez brand worked fine while the store brand didn't. Maybe coincidence...
