Chipotle tartar sauce

Measure Ingredient
1.00 tablespoon olive oil
2.00 teaspoon chopped garlic
2.00 \N chipotle peppers; seeded, diced small
1.00 cup homemade or prepared mayonnaise
1.00 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 \N juice of 1 lemon
1 \N salt; to taste
1 \N freshly-ground black pepper; to taste

In a small skillet heat oil over low heat with garlic and chipotle peppers until flavors and aromas are released, about 4 minutes, stirring and tossing often. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.

Stir in mayonnaise, green onions and lemon juice; season to taste with salt and pepper.
