Yield: 4 Servings
|1 cup||Fine cheese cracker crumbs|
|1½ tablespoon||Taco Seasoning|
|¼ cup||Butter; melted|
|4 tablespoons||Cheese spread|
|2 tablespoons||Diced green chilis|
|2 \N||Green onions; chopped, including tops|
|2 cups||Diced cooked chicken|
|1 cup||Chicken white sauce -Chicken White Sauce---|
|2 tablespoons||Butter or margarine|
|1 cup||Chicken broth or 1 cup water with 2|
|1 teaspoon||Chicken Bouillon Base|
|2 drops||Hot sauce|
Cheesy Chicken: In a small bowl combine cracker crumbs and taco seasoning.
Mix in melted butter. Set aside. Combine cheese spread, green chiles, onions and chicken in an 8 inch square baking dish. Crumble cracker mixture over top. Pour sauce over. Cover with~ wax paper. Microwave at medium high (70%) until heated through, 6 to 8 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.
Makes 4 servings.
Chicken White Sauce Place butter in a 2 cup measure. Microwave a high (100%) until melted, 30 seconds. Stir in flour. in chicken broth. Microwave at medium high (70%) until thickened, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring twice during cooking time.
