12 eaches | Slices bread |
½ pounds | Cheddar cheese, thin sliced |
4 eaches | Eggs |
2½ cup | Milk |
½ teaspoon | Prepared mustard |
1 tablespoon | Onion, minced |
¼ teaspoon | Pepper |
Cut crusts from bread. Place 6 slices in bottom of greased baking dish. Top bread with cheese slices. Cover cheese with remaining bread sliced. Combine eggs, milk, mustard, onion and pepper. Pour over bread. Refrigerate for one hour. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 50 minutes. Serve immediately.
