Carrots honey ginger glazed

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ pounds Carrots, peeled & sliced
½ cup Chicken Broth, low salt
1 1 1/2" Fresh Ginger *
1½ teaspoon Butter or Margarine
1 dash Red Pepper Flakes optional
1 tablespoon Honey
½ Garlic Clove, minced

* Ginger sliced in ¼ inch slices. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer, uncovered 10 to 15 minutes until carrots are soft and nicely glazed. Stir frequently. Serve immediately.
