Caribbean skewered beef

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Flank steak
¾ cup Del Monte Traditional Salsa or Picante Sauce; medium
2 tablespoons Fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons Firmly packed brown sugar
4 teaspoons Minced fresh gingerroot

Slice meat crosswise diagonally into thin slices. In large bowl, combine salsa, lime juice, sugar, and ginger. Toss meat with salsa marinade and let stand at least 10 minutes or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Thread meat onto skewers; grill or broil 3 to 4 minutes per side. Serve immediately.
