Caramel cream glaze

Put 5 Tbls. butter & 1 cup light brown sugar in small saucepan. Stir over low heat until butter melts & mixture is smooth. Add ¼ cup half & half & a pinch of salt. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat & simmer 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in ½ tsp. vanilla.

Cool 10-15 minutes or until glaze thickens slightly before using.
