Cabbage casserole #2

Ingredients

1Stick butter
½poundsAmerican cheese
1largeOnion; chopped fine
½Bell pepper; chopped fine
2largesPieces celery; chopped fine
2mediumsHeads cabbage
½pintCoffee cream
Bread crumbs

Directions

Coarsely cut cabbage and boil until tender. Saut‚ onion, pepper and celery in butter. Put in drained cabbage and cook 15 minutes. Add ½ lb. cheese and ½ pint coffee cream, add red pepper and salt to taste. Put in well-greased casserole and cover with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
