|1 teaspoon||Vanilla extract|
|½ cup||Unsweetened cocoa powder|
|1 cup||Pecans; chopped|

1. In a medium bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 mins.
Beat in cocoa. Add flour and beat until well blended. By hand stir in pecans. Spread evenly in a wax paper-lined 8-inch square glass dish.
2. Cook in a microwave on High 3 mins. Turn dish a quarter turn and cook 2½ to 3 mins longer. Let cool. Sift powdered sugar over top.
Cut into 16 or 25 squares.
