Bourbon sweet potatoes

Ingredients

6mediumsSweet potatoes
½cupBrown sugar
¼cupButter, chopped
¼cupBourbon
Extra butter for pan

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Bake sweet potatoes until fork tender. Let cool, peel and cut into slices about ½ inch thick.

Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and place the sweet potatoes in the pan. Cover with the chopped butter and sugar, pour the bourbon over the potatoes. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until browned and bubbly.

Let sit 15 minutes before serving.
