Beef and potato bake

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Envelope onion soup mix
1 pounds Lean ground beef
6 ounces Can evaporated milk
½ cup Bread crumbs
½ teaspoon Salt
4 Potatoes -- thinly sliced
1 teaspoon Chopped parsley
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Paprika
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Stir soup mix well. Combine 3 tablespoons mix with beef, milk, crumbs and ½ teaspoon salt. Mix well. Spread this in bottom of shallow, lightly greased baking dish. Set aside. Combine remaining soup mix with potatoes, parsley and ½ teaspoon salt. Arrange potato mixture evenly over meat. Cover. Bake 1 hour until potatoes are tender.

Uncover; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with paprika.
