|1||Envelope onion soup mix|
|1 pounds||Lean ground beef|
|6 ounces||Can evaporated milk|
|½ cup||Bread crumbs|
|4||Potatoes -- thinly sliced|
|1 teaspoon||Chopped parsley|
|1 cup||Shredded cheddar cheese|
Stir soup mix well. Combine 3 tablespoons mix with beef, milk, crumbs and ½ teaspoon salt. Mix well. Spread this in bottom of shallow, lightly greased baking dish. Set aside. Combine remaining soup mix with potatoes, parsley and ½ teaspoon salt. Arrange potato mixture evenly over meat. Cover. Bake 1 hour until potatoes are tender.
Uncover; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with paprika.
