---|---|---|
6 | cups | Sliced fruit (your choice) |
1 | Stick butter or margarine; melted | |
1 | cup | Brown sugar |
1 | cup | Flour |
½ | cup | Rolled oats |
¾ | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1 | pinch | Salt; if desired |
¼ | cup | Water; as needed |
Butter a 9x9" baking pan. Place sliced fruit in pan. Works great with any firm fleshed fruit like apples, peaches, plums - even oranges). Add water to fruit. If the fruit is dry or wet, adjust water accordingly.
Mix melted butter or margarine, brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and salt together to make a coarse mixture. Pat topping mix onto fruit, covering it completely. Bake 1 hour at 350 oF. Serve warm (with ice cream!).
