Avon's casserole

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Ground meat (beef; pork, sausage or any combination) |
| 1 | can | (10-oz) onion soup |
| 1 | can | (10-oz) chicken broth |
| ¾ | cup | Raw rice |
| ½ | cup | Water |
| ½ | cup | Onion; chopped |
| ½ | cup | Bell pepper; chopped |
| ½ | cup | Celery; chopped |
| small | Amount of oil | |
| Salt & pepper to taste | ||
| Bread or cracker crumbs | ||
Directions
Saut meat in a little oil until pink disappears. Grease casserole; put in meat. Saut onions, bell peppers and celery. Mix uncooked rice and other ingredients together and place in casserole; cover. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with bread or cracker crumbs and bake until lightly brown, about 20 ninutes. Serves 8 to 10.
