Yield: 1 quart
|½||Bottle good Scotch whiskey|
|½ pounds||Caster sugar|
|½ pint||Sweet cider|
|1 small||Bottle rosehip syrup|
Mix the sugar, cider, honey and rosehip syrup together in a large bowl. Add the whisky and stir thoroughly for a few minutes. Bottle and store in a cool place. If rosehip syrup is unavailable then any fruit syrup will suffice. The quantities can be reduced in proportion if required. Scottish Heather Honey is preferable. A delicious sweet and potent drink.
