Ellen's vegetable soup

Measure Ingredient
1 large Onion; chopped
6 \N Carrots; scraped & sliced
2 pounds Lean ground beef
2 \N Potatoes; peeled and diced
2 cans Tomatoes; chopped (29oz.)
1 tablespoon Salt; or to taste
10 cups Water
2 teaspoons Black pepper
1 pack Frozen baby lima beans
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 pack Frozen corn
½ cup Milk

Brown onions and ground beef in large soup pot. Add remaining ingredients except milk. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in milk.
