Aunt dorabell's chocolate cake

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Sugar
½ cup Butter
2 mediums Eggs (must use medium)
½ cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon Soda
2 cups Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
3 tablespoons Cocoa (heaping)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Boiling water

Cream sugar, eggs and butter. Dissolve soda in milk, add to creamed mixture. Blend well. Sift together flour, salt and cocoa; add to creamed mixture. Beat well; add boiling water, vanilla and mix. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes in three greased and floured 8-inch round pans. Frost as desired.
