Applespice gingerbread

Measure Ingredient
2½ cup Flour
2 cups Brown sugar, packed
1 cup Margarine, softened
½ cup Apple juice
3 teaspoons Ginger ground
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Allspice
8 ounces Applesauce
3 larges Eggs
¼ cup Icing sugar,

Heat oven 350F. Grease 9 by 9 pan. Into large bowl, mix all ingredients, except icing sugar. blend well, constantly scraping bowl with spatula. Beat at high for 2 minutes more. Pour batter into pan, bake 1 hour, until toothpick comes clean. cool 10 minutes, dust with icing sugar. Submitted By KATHERINE WALDEN On 10-04-94
