Angel-hair pasta with sun-dried tomatoes

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes; drained
2 cups Boiling water
3 \N Cloves garlic
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Ground hot red pepper; (cayenne) (up to 1/2)
1 pounds Dried angel-hair pasta

1. Remove one-quarter of tomatoes and finely slice. Combine remaining tomatoes, boiling water, garlic, salt and hot red pepper in blender. Whirl until smooth, scraping down sides of blender with rubber spatula as needed.

2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Toss pasta with tomato puree and sliced tomatoes in large bowl.

Makes 8 appetizer servings.
