An authentic pesto

2tablespoonsPine nuts
1teaspoonCoarse salt
4(or 5) black peppercorns
3Garlic clove(s)
4tablespoonsButter
3cupsBasil leaves
4ouncesGrated Parmesan cheese
4ouncesGrated Romano cheese or added Parmesan cheese
cupOlive oil

Directions

Place all ingredients except 1 cup black peppercorns in food processor and grind very fine. Add remaining olive oil and blend a few seconds until very smooth.
