Basic pesto recipe

Ingredients

2cupsBasil leaves; packed tightly
3Cloves garlic
¼cupPine nuts
¼cupParmigiano reggiano; freshly grated
3tablespoonsPecorino; freshly grated
1cupLigurian olive oil
Salt and pepper; to taste

Directions

In a food processor pulse basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts and cheeses until blended. With motor running, pour olive oil in a thin stream until incorporated. Season with salt and pepper.
