| 3 | cups | Fresh corn or frozen |
| ⅓ | cup | Yellow cornmeal |
| 2 | tablespoons | Melted butter |
| 2 | teaspoons | Sugar 1 tsp. salt |
| 1 | cup | Cheese, grated |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter baking dish. Cut chilies in wide strips. Combine corn, cornmeal, butter, sugar and salt in blender.
Layer ½ cornmeal mixture, chili strips and cheese. Top with rest of cornmeal mixture and put cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
