Zesty turkey and rice

Ingredients

1⅔cupChicken stock
1teaspoonDried basil leaves; crushed
¼teaspoonGarlic powder
¼teaspoonHot pepper sauce
1poundsCanned stewed tomatoes
¾cupUncooked long grain rice
1cupFrozen peas
2cupsCooked turkey or chicken; cubed

Directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low.

2. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Stir in peas and turkey.

3. Cover and cook 5 minutes more or until rice is done and most of liquid is absorbed.

Per serving: calories 332, fat 4.4g, 12% calories from fat, cholesterol 53mg, protein 28.1g, carbohydrates 42.5g, fiber 2.3g, sodium 608mg.
