Winter broccoli and cinnamon soup

Ingredients

| 1 | tablespoon | Butter or margarine |
| 1 | large | Onion; chopped |
| 2 | Cloves garlic; crushed | |
| 1 | pounds | Broccoli; roughly chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons | Soya sauce |
| 1½ | pint | Marigold Vegetable Bouillon |
| Seasoning | ||
| 2 | teaspoons | Cinnamon |
| Cream to serve; (optional) | ||
Directions
1. Melt the butter in a pan, add the onion and garlic and saut until transparent.
2. Add the broccoli, soya sauce, stock and seasoning and simmer for 45 minutes.
3. Allow to cool a little before liquidising until smooth. Return to the pan, stir in the cinnamon and reheat gently, then serve.
