White wine fruit salad

½cupDry white wine
teaspoonGrated lemon rind
2tablespoonsFresh lemon juice
4cupsHoneydew balls or cubes
4cupsCantaloupe balls or cubes
1cupSeedless green grapes
Lettuce

Directions

In a shallow serving bowl, dissolve sugar in a mixture of wine, lemon rind, and lemon juice, stirring constantly. Gently add fruit. Chill two hours, tossing occasionally.
