White chocolate crisps

Ingredients

Shortening
¾cupLightly packed brown sugar
½cupGranulated sugar
1Egg
2tablespoonsMilk
teaspoonVanilla
cupWheat & oat flour or all-
Purpose flour
1teaspoonBaking soda
½teaspoonSalt
6Squares Baker's white
Chocolate coarsely chopped
cupCrisp rice cereal

Directions

Cream shortening, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until light and creamy. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating at low speed until blended. Stir in chocolate and cereal. Mix well. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet, leaving room for spreading. Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes, or until light golden.
