Vanilla crisps

Yield: 25 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup margarine or butter
½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cans eggs
2½ cup flour

1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar.

2. Add vanilla and ½ teaspoon salt.

3. Add the eggs, beating the mixture well.

4. Stir in the flour and mix well.

5. Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart on an ungreaded cookie sheet (or 6. Flatten with a floured glass.

7. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

8. Remove immediately and cool on a rack.
