Watercress mayonnaise

2bunchesWatercress; leaves only, roughly chopped
1cupSour cream
2teaspoonsFresh lemon juice
1dashTabasco sauce
1teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonFreshly-ground black pepper
½cupMayonnaise; preferably homemade

Directions

In a blender, combine the watercress, sour cream, lemon juice, tabasco, salt, and pepper. Puree until smooth, then transfer to a bowl and stir in the mayonnaise. This recipe yields 1½ cups of mayonnaise.
