Walnut studded green beans

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Large pieces diamond walnuts
¾ pounds Green beans; halved
¼ teaspoon Salt
3 \N Cloves garlic; minced
1½ teaspoon Olive oil
4 slices Turkey bacon; cooked crisp in 1/2\" pieces
½ cup Thinly sliced red bell pepper; (optional)

Toast walnuts: spread on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min. at 350o. F, turning often. Place beans and salt in skillet with ¼ cup water. Cover and cook over medium high heat 3-4 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp. Drain.

Add garlic, olive oil, turkey bacon, bell pepper, and walnuts. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently 2-3 minutes.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
