Walnut studded green beans

Ingredients

| ¾ | cup | Large pieces diamond walnuts |
| ¾ | pounds | Green beans; halved |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 3 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Olive oil |
| 4 | slices | Turkey bacon; cooked crisp in 1/2\" pieces |
| ½ | cup | Thinly sliced red bell pepper; (optional) |
Directions
Toast walnuts: spread on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min. at 350o. F, turning often. Place beans and salt in skillet with ¼ cup water. Cover and cook over medium high heat 3-4 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp. Drain.
Add garlic, olive oil, turkey bacon, bell pepper, and walnuts. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently 2-3 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
