|¾ cup||Large pieces diamond walnuts|
|¾ pounds||Green beans; halved|
|3 \N||Cloves garlic; minced|
|1½ teaspoon||Olive oil|
|4 slices||Turkey bacon; cooked crisp in 1/2\" pieces|
|½ cup||Thinly sliced red bell pepper; (optional)|
Toast walnuts: spread on baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min. at 350o. F, turning often. Place beans and salt in skillet with ¼ cup water. Cover and cook over medium high heat 3-4 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp. Drain.
Add garlic, olive oil, turkey bacon, bell pepper, and walnuts. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently 2-3 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
