Vinegar cookies

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1½ | cup | Shortening |
| 1 | teaspoon | Soda |
| 2 | Eggs, beaten | |
| 4½ | cup | Flour |
| 1 | cup | White sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Maple flavoring |
| 1 | cup | Chopped nuts |
Directions
Cream shortening and sugars well. Add flavoring, vinegar, and eggs.
Add flour, mix well. Roll in balls. Press flat with hand. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned.
