Yield: 4 servings
|1 large||Onions, sweet|
|4 tablespoons||Mayonnaise, eggless|
|½ teaspoon||Salt, celery|
Thinly slice onions. Combine onions, water, sugar, and vinegar; marinate overnight.
Before serving, drain and pat dry. Toss with mayonnaise and salt.
Serve on party rye.
