Tomatoes and okra

Ingredients

3slicesBacon
1mediumBell pepper; chopped
2Cloves garlic; minced
Salt and pepper to taste
2poundsOkra; cut in 1/2-inch pieces
1smallOnion; chopped
2poundsFresh tomatoes; peeled, cubed

Directions

Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from grease. Cook okra in drippings and add green pepper, onion and garlic to drippings. Stir in tomatoes and cooked bacon. Add salt and pepper as needed. Cover skillet and cook 15 minutes.
