Tomato juice cocktail - sl 1/90

Ingredients

| 1 | each | 46-oz can tomato juice |
| 1 | tablespoon | Instant minced onion |
| 1 | tablespoon | Sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Bon appetit seasoning |
| 1 | teaspoon | Powdered horseradish |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 1 | each | Bay leaf |
| 6 | eaches | Whole cloves |
| 2 | eaches | Whole allspice |
| 3 | tablespoons | White vinegar |
Directions
Combine all ingredients except vinegar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in vinegar, and let cool. Strain and discard bay leaf, cloves, and allspice. Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours. Pour beverage into glasses. Yield: about 6 cups.
