Tennessee hamburger stew

Ingredients

1 | tablespoon | Margarine |
1 | each | Onion; sliced |
1½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | tablespoon | Steak sauce |
19 | ounces | Can tomatoes |
3 | mediums | Potatoes; thinly sliced |
3 | mediums | Carrots; scraped & thickly sliced |
2 | eaches | Stalks celery; diced |
4 | eaches | Split hot biscuits |
Directions
Brown beef lightly in margarine, stirring with fork to break up meat. Add onion; cook 5 minutes longer. Add remaining ingredients, except hot biscuits; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve on hot biscuits.
