Tennessee hamburger stew

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef
1 tablespoon Margarine
1 each Onion; sliced
1½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Steak sauce
19 ounces Can tomatoes
3 mediums Potatoes; thinly sliced
3 mediums Carrots; scraped & thickly sliced
2 eaches Stalks celery; diced
4 eaches Split hot biscuits

Brown beef lightly in margarine, stirring with fork to break up meat. Add onion; cook 5 minutes longer. Add remaining ingredients, except hot biscuits; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve on hot biscuits.
