| ½ | cup | Butter |
| ½ | pounds | Mushrooms |
| 2 | cups | Onions -- finely chopped |
| 1 | pounds | Italian Sausage |
| 1 | pounds | Cheddar Cheese -- grated |
| 5 | Whole Eggs | |
| 2½ | cup | Milk |
| 1 | teaspoon | Dry Mustard |
| 3 | teaspoons | Dijon Mustard |
| 1 | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| Salt And Pepper -- to taste | ||
Directions
Butter bread, set aside.
Melt ½ cup butter, saute onions & mushrooms.
Grease 13 x 9 casserole. Layer ½ bread, mushrooms & onions, sausage, & cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, mustards, nutmeg, salt, & pepper. Pour over casserole, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
