½ pounds | Mushrooms |
2 cups | Onions -- finely chopped |
1 pounds | Italian Sausage |
1 pounds | Cheddar Cheese -- grated |
5 \N | Whole Eggs |
2½ cup | Milk |
1 teaspoon | Dry Mustard |
3 teaspoons | Dijon Mustard |
1 teaspoon | Nutmeg |
\N \N | Salt And Pepper -- to taste |
Butter bread, set aside.
Melt ½ cup butter, saute onions & mushrooms.
Grease 13 x 9 casserole. Layer ½ bread, mushrooms & onions, sausage, & cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, mustards, nutmeg, salt, & pepper. Pour over casserole, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
