2cupsOnions -- finely chopped
1poundsItalian Sausage
1poundsCheddar Cheese -- grated
5Whole Eggs
cupMilk
1teaspoonDry Mustard
3teaspoonsDijon Mustard
1teaspoonNutmeg
Salt And Pepper -- to taste

Directions

Butter bread, set aside.

Melt ½ cup butter, saute onions & mushrooms.

Grease 13 x 9 casserole. Layer ½ bread, mushrooms & onions, sausage, & cheese.

Mix eggs, milk, mustards, nutmeg, salt, & pepper. Pour over casserole, cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
