Sweet spicy chicken skewers

Yield: 16 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N 4 oz. can green chilies; drained
1 \N Green onion; cut 1 inch pieces
2 \N Cloves garlic
½ cup Bottled plum sauce
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame oil
½ teaspoon Salt
2 \N 4 ozs. each chicken breast, skinless, boneless; cut in 1 1/2\" cubes
1 \N Sweet green pepper, cored, seeded; cut in 1\" squares
1 medium Onion; cut in 1\" squares
1 \N Sweet red pepper, cored, seeded; cut in 1\" squares

Combine first 7 ingredients in a food processor; process until pureed.

Place chicken in a medium size bowl; add half of the sauce mixture. Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate. Reserve the remaining half of the sauce mixture.

Soak 16 small wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes. Heat broiler. Thread green pepper, onion, red pepper and chicken cubes on skewers. Place skewers on rack in broiler pan. Spoon on remaining reserved sauce.

Broil 6" from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, turning once.
