Sweet spicy chicken skewers

Ingredients

14 oz. can green chilies; drained
1Green onion; cut 1 inch pieces
2Cloves garlic
½cupBottled plum sauce
1tablespoonSoy sauce
1teaspoonSesame oil
½teaspoonSalt
24 ozs. each chicken breast, skinless, boneless; cut in 1 1/2\" cubes
1Sweet green pepper, cored, seeded; cut in 1\" squares
1mediumOnion; cut in 1\" squares
1Sweet red pepper, cored, seeded; cut in 1\" squares

Directions

Combine first 7 ingredients in a food processor; process until pureed.

Place chicken in a medium size bowl; add half of the sauce mixture. Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate. Reserve the remaining half of the sauce mixture.

Soak 16 small wooden skewers in a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes. Heat broiler. Thread green pepper, onion, red pepper and chicken cubes on skewers. Place skewers on rack in broiler pan. Spoon on remaining reserved sauce.

Broil 6" from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, turning once.
