Sweet sauteed apples

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
4 \N Apples; cooking
2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter;
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar; firmly packed
½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon;
½ teaspoon Ground Nutmeg;

Core apples and cut into about 8 wedges each; peel if desired. In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples and cook, shaking pan gently every now and then, about 5 minutes. Turn the apple wedges over, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and cook another few minutes, shaking pan and spooning juices over apples as they cook. Serve warm.
