Sweet sauteed apples

4Apples; cooking
2tablespoonsUnsalted Butter;
2tablespoonsBrown Sugar; firmly packed
½teaspoonGround Cinnamon;
½teaspoonGround Nutmeg;

Directions

Core apples and cut into about 8 wedges each; peel if desired. In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apples and cook, shaking pan gently every now and then, about 5 minutes. Turn the apple wedges over, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and cook another few minutes, shaking pan and spooning juices over apples as they cook. Serve warm.
